Vancouver, British Columbia - on behalf of everyone at Artha Resources Corporation (TSX.V: AHC) it is my sad duty to inform you that our director and good friend David Straw has passed away.

David was a widely known and respected geologist with over 50 years experience in the mining industry. David was a graduate of McGill University and shortly thereafter became the Chief Geologist for Johns Manville. He later moved to Australia and became the V.P. Exploration of Inco Australia as well the V.P. Mineral Development and Director of Inco Indonesia. David served on the board of many companies during his distinguished career and in 1955 received the Presidents Gold Medal from the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

On behalf of the Board, staff and friends of Artha Resources, I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to David's family and friends. Our thoughts are with you at this time.
